How to review a TikTok draft before you post.

Start with the first moments.

Watch the opening without skipping ahead. Can someone quickly tell what they are looking at, who it is for, or what they should stay for? A striking opening and a clear premise are related, but they are not the same thing.

Follow the progression.

Review the video from start to finish. Look for moments where the visual, spoken, or on-screen story stops progressing. A pause can be intentional; the useful question is whether it still serves the point of the draft.

Check the screen, not only the script.

• Make sure on-screen text is readable at a glance.
• Keep key text, faces, products, and actions clear of interface edges.
• Confirm the draft is vertical and the core visual remains legible on a phone.

Choose the next edit.

Turn the review into one specific change: tighten an introduction, make a caption easier to read, move an important detail, or clarify the next step. A draft review is a way to decide what deserves another pass before publishing; it does not predict views or virality.
